a steep head angle would be like if the forks went straight down to the axle 90 degrees from the headtube, a slack head angle is like when you see american chopper and the forks are at a relaxed angle. there is a bolt at the front of your shock and undo it and drop it into the bottom slot, this will slacken the head angle, make the wheelbase longer and make your bike easier to control at speed. check the athertons or fabien barels moondraker for examples of bikes with slack head angles
